What Is the Purpose of Adding Comments?
While in an asset, it can be helpful to leave comments.
By adding comments, you can document ideas and questions that pertain specifically to an asset or part of the 3D environment. This can serve as a historical log as time goes on, and you can remember important details as they relate to the asset.
You can also use this to bring a colleague's attention to a specific asset that you want them to see. When you @ a specific person in a comment, that person will receive a notification. This notification will alert about the asset and they can go directly to the asset that to comment is attached to. (More about Notifications Here)
How Do I Add A Comment?
After opening an asset, the box at the bottom is called Comments. From here, click the + sign in the upper right hand corner.
Give your comment a Title and write the body of the comment in the Description field. Then hit Save.
From here, if you'd like to include a specific colleague in the conversation, you can click on the same comment again, and @ the person you'd like to notify.
