To organize, search, and report on work orders, Aetos classifies them by Maintenance Type. Standard types include Preventive Maintenance, Inspections, and Reactive Repairs.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Click on Settings in the left navigation sidebar.
Click on the Configurations tab.
Locate the Sheet Types card.
Click the Add Maintenance Type button. This opens an inline edit row in the table.
Enter the classification name in the Maintenance Type Name field (e.g., "Safety Calibration").
(Optional) Check the box labeled Set as default if you want this category to prefill automatically on every new work order form.
Note: Only one Maintenance Type can serve as the default. If another type is currently the default, a confirmation dialog will appear, warning that saving will replace the previous setting.
Click the Save (checkmark) icon on the inline row.
The row updates, and the new classification immediately appears in your "Maintenance Type" dropdown on all new work order creation forms.
