All work orders require scheduled dates and deadlines to coordinate maintenance backlogs and prevent compliance breaches. Aetos utilizes start and due dates to organize calendars, trigger user notifications, and automatically flag overdue tickets.
Core Date Definitions
1. Scheduled At (Start Date)
Definition: The planned calendar date and time when maintenance work is authorized to begin.
System Impact:
The ticket appears in the assignee's list as "Scheduled".
Direct notifications are dispatched to assignees on this date to alert them that work can begin.
You cannot set the scheduled date to occur in the past.
2. Due At (Due Date)
Definition: The hard compliance deadline by which all checklist tasks and assessment questions must be complete.
System Impact:
If a work order has a
Due Atdate, theScheduled Atfield is strictly required (the start date must always precede the deadline). If the deadline passes and the status remains Open, In Progress, or On Hold, the platform automatically flags the ticket as Overdue in red and transitions the state to Missed where applicable.
