To guarantee that safety protocols, compliance rules, and operational guidelines are strictly followed, administrators can configure checklist tasks as mandatory. When a task is marked as required, Aetos will actively block technicians from completing the work order until every mandatory task is checked off.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Configure Required Tasks (Admin Setup)
Navigate to the Work Orders page from the left navigation sidebar.
Select your target work order from the table and open the Edit form.
Scroll down to the Tasks card.
On any individual task row, toggle the Required switch to ON (represented by a green toggle).
(Optional) Toggle the Sequential Execution switch to ON at the section level. This locks future tasks until the preceding required task is checked off.
Click SAVE in the bottom edit bar. A green success banner confirms the configuration was updated.
Step 2: Execute and Validate (Technician View)
Open your assigned Work Order detail panel. Required tasks are distinguished by a red asterisk
*.As you perform the work, check the selection box on the task row to mark it complete.
Once all physical work is done, click the Status dropdown badge in the header and select Completed.
The Validation Gate:
If required tasks are incomplete: A warning dialog will appear: "Cannot complete work order. There are required checklist tasks that must be checked off first." The system will highlight the incomplete required tasks in red.
If all required tasks are checked: The status badge immediately updates to Completed in green, and the completion timestamp is logged.
