Aetos features an advanced dimensional filtering suite on the Work Orders dashboard.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Filters Menu
Navigate to the Work Orders page from the left navigation sidebar.
Click the Filters button in the list toolbar. This opens the filter selection panel.
Step 2: Select Filter Dimensions
Adjust the parameters on the panel to isolate your backlog:
Location: Restrict tickets to specific physical buildings.
Asset: Select specific physical assets to view their linked maintenance history.
Assignees & Supervisors: Isolate tasks assigned to or overseen by specific team members.
Status: Toggle specific states (e.g., show only In Progress and On Hold).
Maintenance Type: Filter by categories (e.g., show only Preventive Maintenance).
Due Date: Select preconfigured intervals (e.g., Due Today, Next 7 Days, or Overdue).
Click Apply Filters to update the table.
Step 3: Save Your Filters as a Custom Saved View (Tab)
If you configure a filter set that you need to access regularly:
Ensure your active filters are applied and the table list is updated.
Click the + button (New Saved View) on the right side of your table tab bar. This opens the saved view creation dialog.
Enter a descriptive title in the View Name field (e.g., "Boiler B - High Priority").
Choose whether to make this view private (visible only to you) or shared (visible to all administrators in your organization).
Click Save.
The dialog closes, and a new tab appears in your saved views bar. Clicking this tab in the future will instantly load and render your custom filters, columns, and sorts.
Step 4: Delete a Custom Saved View
Select the custom tab you wish to remove from your saved views bar.
Click the Settings (gear) icon next to the active tab title to open the settings dialog.
Click Delete View.
The tab is removed from your bar. (This does not delete any work orders, only the pre-filtered layout tab).
