Aetos features a comprehensive Asset Form that maps directly to equipment attributes, classification parameters, custom fields, and reference files.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Navigate to the Assets page from the left navigation sidebar.
Select your target asset from the list (or click its virtual tag in the scan) to open its details panel.
Click Edit in the bottom action bar. This opens the Asset Form on the left.
Update the fields as needed:
Name: The primary label displayed in lists and on 3D tag billboards.
Description: Enter detailed guidelines or specs using the rich text editor.
Systems: Multi-select preconfigured systems to group the asset (e.g., Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing).
Labels: Assign active tags for category-level grouping.
Asset Type: Select the model group (e.g., Boiler, Pump, Valve).
Criticality: Select the severity of operational failure (Low, Medium, High, Critical).
Condition: Record active wear status (Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor, Non-Functional).
Financials: Enter the Replacement Cost, Install Date, and Warranty Expiry calendar dates.
Update Custom Fields:
Scroll down to the Custom Fields section.
Input specific measurements (e.g., input voltage, refrigerant type, or capacity) into the pre-configured boxes.
Manage Attachments & Links:
Under the Attachments card, click the + icon (Add Attachment) to open your files library and link operations manuals or schematics.
Under the Links card, click Add Link to append external URLs (e.g., a manufacturer parts catalog) directly to your virtual 3D tag.
Click Save in the bottom edit bar.
A green success banner confirms the asset details were saved, and your updated metadata immediately renders in the detail card.
