Asset Selection can now be done in Training Courses
Overview
We are bridging the gap between your Assets and Training. You can now directly associate existing assets with tags in your training chapters, so that your technicians are looking at the exact equipment or location required. We have also overhauled the Editor’s visual behavior to provide a clearer, more interactive experience when positioning tags.
Key Features
- Select an existing asset from the new searchable dropdown in the Chapter Editor to instantly associate the step with an Asset.
- Enhanced Editing and Course Creation
- Visibility: All placed assets and tags are now visible by default when you enter the Editor.
- Focus Mode: Click any asset in the scan to automatically "teleport" to its position and highlight it.
A New Way of Assigning Users to a Training Course
Overview
We’ve introduced due dates when assigning users to Training Courses. We have overhauled your courses’ Assignments to automatically update as your organization changes.
Key Features
- Dynamic Updates and Propagation: Updating a users Job Title or Location automatically updates the courses assignees. You can manually edit the assignees in the course as needed.
- Notifications: When an Administrator assigns a course, a notification is automatically sent to the team, ensuring they are immediately aware of the specific course and its associated due date.
Enhancements
Fixed an issue where specific non-recurring work orders would erroneously regenerate after being closed.
- Resolved an issue where pausing a video to explore a scan while in a training course would cause the video to restart from the beginning.
- Improved the Scan Viewer header to display the full scan name, ensuring long or standardized titles are no longer cut off.
