This guide will help you understand how to navigate and utilize the Work Orders feature within the AETOS platform. We'll cover different views, filtering, searching, and managing individual work order details, including how to add specific assessments. Refer to the video below for visual demonstrations, using the chapter timestamps provided in each section.
Accessing Work Orders

To get started with Work Orders:
- Navigate to Maintenance in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click on Work Orders.
Agenda View
(Video Chapter Start: This section is covered within the first chapter starting at ~0:00, specific features demonstrated from ~0:13 onwards)
By default, you'll land on the Agenda View. This view is particularly useful for technicians to see their assigned tasks in a chronological, day-by-day format.
Key Features of Agenda View:
- "Assigned to me" Filter: Click this button at the top right to quickly see only work orders assigned specifically to you.
- Work Order Filters (Funnel Icon):
- Click the filter icon to open advanced filtering options.
- You can filter by Assigned Users, Status, Asset, etc.
- Click "CLEAR FILTERS" to remove all applied filters.
- Location Filter:
- Use the "Select Location" dropdown to filter work orders by a specific location.
- Searching:
- Use the "Search work orders..." bar. Results appear instantly.
Table View

You can switch to the Table View for a spreadsheet-like overview, ideal for supervisors.
Key Features of Table View:
- Filtering & Searching: Similar to Agenda View.
- Table Customization:
- Sorting: Click column headers.
- Hiding/Showing Columns: Use the three-dot menu on column headers.
- Reordering Columns: Drag and drop headers.
- Saving Custom Views:
- Click "Save View", name it, and click "Create".
Viewing and Managing Individual Work Orders

Click on any work order to open its details pane.
Key Information & Actions:
- Status: Manually change the work order status.
- Type & Priority, Assignments, Details, Task List, Assessments: (Visible in the pane)
- Activity Log:
- History: Audit trail of changes.
- Comments: View or add comments.
- Occurrences: Previous executions for recurring WOs.
Editing Work Orders and Adding Assessments

To make changes or add detailed assessments:
- Open the work order details pane.
- Click the three-dot menu and select "Edit".
Editable Fields & Options:
- Title & Description, Type, Priority & Custom Fields: Standard editable fields.
- Details (Location, Assets, Position):
- Positioning (Scan Integration): Link the work order to a precise point within a 3D scan by clicking "Select Position," choosing a scan, navigating, and placing a tag.
- Adding Assessments:
Create structured checklists for specific assets.
- Click "+ Add Assessment".
- Give the assessment a Name.
- Rows (Questions): Add questions and select their Question Type (Text, Yes/No, Pass/Fail, Number, Asset assessment).
- Columns (Assets): Add asset columns to specify which assets the questions apply to.
- You can add multiple distinct assessment blocks.
- Schedule: (Video demonstrates this starting around ~4:46 within the "Editing" chapter)
- Set dates and configure Recurring options if needed.
- Click "Save" at the bottom right to apply all changes.
Reviewing and Managing Assessments (After Edit)

- After saving, view the structured assessments.
- To remove an assessment, click its three-dot menu and select "Delete".
